Gibson (AKA Gibby)

Gibson has such a sensitive soul! He found his forever home at our Sammy family picnic. One of our treasured adopters lost one of their babies and their home was just to empty without all that fur. Gibby picked his mom and dad out of the crowd and said here I am take me to our home please. They did just that! Gibby loves to go for walks and run and play on the property. This was the home Gibson always needed and deserved and now he has it for the rest of forever. We will miss you bunches and can’t wait to see you at the picnic!

Demi (Maya)

|
Demi was loved by everyone here at the Sammy ranch but espically the young man of the house. She loved to sleep on his bed and play with him at play time. However when her mom came she knew right away that he was just hanging onto her until mom got here. Mayas mom and I both thought she was coming to meet Sir Moe but Maya proved otherwise. She didn’t want Moe anywhere near her momma she climbed up on moms lap and sat there until mom put her in the car. Maya knew this was her forever the minute she came to her. We loved having you Maya sammy smiles sent with you from the ranch.

Chilly was here as quick as he was gone. When his mom and dad came to meet him he knew right away they were meant to be his and he let them know. Moon loved his people from the minute they walked through the door. They show him how right he was every day to have picked them, Moon gets to go for walks, gets nummy cookies and lots of love too. Thanks for leaving your paw print on our hearts sweet boy we wish you all the happiness!

Shmoe as we lovingly called Moe was a pleasure to have in our home. When Moe came in he was wound tighter then a ten day clock. Some of which was due I think just to the excitement of people. When Moe calmed down he was one of the sweetest most well behaved boys you could have ever asked for. A family found him that felt just the same way. Moe goes for walks with dad every day and loves hanging with mom when she gets home at night. We were happy as can be to see Moe settled in happily forever with his perfect family. Have fun good boy we will hope to see you again soon.

If a young Sam comes in needing love we always turn to our past adopters first and that turned out to be just the perfect plan for Drake. This special boy got the perfect mom from that plan. They play, play and play you can just tell by looking at him Drake loooooves his momma. He is growing up to be a beautiful well behave sweet heart of a dog thanks to the love and attention he gets at home. We loved playing and snuggling with this sweet boy while he was with us but he has some separation issues he needed his family to get him through. He was lucky enough to find a mom, dad and a couple k-9 siblings to do just that. Cobley is living happily ever after getting tons of exercise, love and care and fluffy could ever ask for. We loved having you here with us big guy and will miss you bunches! Be Good!

Who doesn’t love a puppy? But this puppy was special. Hawkeye grew and learned with us for a couple months before we found his forever family and that was in thanks to his foster family who knew just the mom for him. Hawkeye has a family that loves to play with him, take him for walks and love him for the free spirit he is. Sweet Hawkeye is growing up to be a beautiful boy. We love you buddy!

This sweet girl was in the top five of worst physical shape dogs ever when she came to us. Still she had her love of people (Amazing). Not anymore!! Shelby found a family that turned that right around… With good food, love, exercise, a warm bed and of course treats Shelby has a beautiful, healthy coat and has filled in from being so under weight. We are very lucky to have found Shelby’s mom and dad she looks like she has been with the forever and belonged from day one. We will always have a place for your in our hearts beautiful lady!

When these two girls came in we could tell they needed to be together so we decided to wait until that family came along that was willing to let them stay that way. When their mom and dad applied they thought they only wanted one new dog but when they meant Sara and Samantha they decided that two would work out beautifully. They saw just like we did that Sara and Samantha needed each other. They get to go on walks, to the park, the pet store and all that other fun stuff Sammies like to do. Our sweet Dandi came in a little unsure about people but we saw that inside she was a beautiful dog and with the right guidance she could come around. We found her just that a mom and dad dedicated to her and helping her learn that people are good. Dandi goes on long walks and even jogs. She also gets to go to socialize classes to learn that people are good and there is nothing to be afraid of. Thanks mom and dad for seeing Dandi though her tough times! We will miss you pretty lady.

Came into rescue scared to death of everything and everyone. There mom drove all the way from IL to meet them and feel head over heals. She knew that if someone could help Ruby and Saphire come out of their shell it was here. She was right after only a few short months with their new family they get to go for walks in the woods and come running when mom calls. These girls Know they are safe and loved forever! Thank You for being the family they needed you to be!!

Gracie got to go to a home with two of her Sammy rescue brothers Dodger and Bodie. She loves it there and runs the boys crazy. Her mom and dad take most excellent care of her and nice for us mom is a photographer so we get beautiful updates with amazing pictures. The three babies get to go everywere with mom and dad and couldn’t be loved more. We loved having you sweet girl and are very happy for you!

Bodie went to a home with two of his fellow rescue friends Dodger and Gracie. He loves it there and is doing very well. When Bodie went to his new home he had some aggression issues with being groomed but his mom and dad have made him so comfortable that his issues are history now. He loves to spend his time as close to mom and dad as he can get, and very much so enjoys all the special times he gets with them. You were very special to us, Mr. Bodie, and we will miss you dearly and are thankful you have a family you are so happy with!

Jack is living in a wonderful Happy Ever After. Jacks Dad is a story of pure Sammy addiction as dads best friend got a Sam from WSSH and not long after he knew he had to have one as well. Once they got him home his mom and dad felt like he had been there forever. Jack settled right into their life and routine he very much so enjoys his walks with his friend Kala/Lilly although he is an only dog he gets all the playtime he could want with her. We think that Jack went to a perfect home for him and are certain he will be there forever happily ever after! Happy trails handsome boy!

Milton went to a home really close to the ranch and we feel very lucky that we will still get to see him and he will love getting to come back for play time. When he is home he has four human siblings, a mom and dad that love him to pieces not to mention cats and a goat that he gets very excited about and loves the company of. Milton gets tons of walks and play time with his family and he fits in beautifully. Be good baby they love ya a whole bunch!

Stardust found her forever home in no time. They had adopted from the Michigan Samoyed Rescue in the past and the minute they laid eyes on Stardust they knew she was meant to be a part of their family. Her two Sammy brothers took a minute to get used to having a little puppy around again, but now they are all one big happy family. They get to play together with the humans, not to mention the walks and treats. What a beautiful sight these three fluffy babies are together. Thank You for being there for Stardust we will miss you beautiful girl but are very happy that you found your way to Your Perfect Family!

Esther had been a part of WSSH for a year and a half. She had found her way into a home that said they would love her forever, when that didn’t work out and she came back to the ranch and we decided we didn’t want to put her through that again. Not long after, we received a phone call from a woman who knew things about Esther she couldn’t have possibly have known (she was a previous owner) and wanted us to know that she was 16 – 17 years old. No one wanted to see Esther pass while still being on the available page. She is ours we love her and she is a part of our family, we love her and wouldn’t give her up for anything. Sometimes things happen for a reason! We feel Very Lucky that Esther is a part of Our lives!

Found a family to call his own after a year and a half in rescue. Blizzards mom and dad have a soft spot for seniors and took him home to with his four legged Sammy sister. The four of them are a perfect group the perfect amount of walks, playtime and resting time. Blizzard had became a part of our rescue family but we are very happy he was able to find a family of his own where he gets tone of lovin of his one with just one Sammy sister to keep him company. We wish you a Wonderful happy ever after Mr. Blizzard we miss you a whole bunch!!!

Our little ball of fun went to his forever home with his sister Gracie and brother Bodie. Mom and dad said he is quite a handful but they wouldn’t trade him for the world. Dodger is even starting to play nicely with the cats which is something we all thought may never happen. Homer fits wonderfully in this home of love and attention we don’t think he could have blossomed near as nicely or quickly without such dedicated parents. You were fun to have here at the ranch Dodger and we are very happy you were able to find your forever family! Happy Trails!

This beautiful lady found a mom and dad that are just perfect for her. She gets to go for all the walks she wants and loves going away while she loves play time with her sister Penny but also enjoys the quality time she gets with mom and dad while Krissy is out playing with sleds. When Pennys family came to meet her they didn’t even know that was part of the plans but one short walk out front they were in love with her and didn’t want to leave without her. Penny is a very sweet, well behaved and beautiful girl it was our pleasure to have her here at the ranch. Enjoy your loving pretty lady!

Cesaer is doing well and life is good. He loves is new family and all of the, camping, walks and water after all what Sammy wouldn’t! We loved having Cesaer here to stay with us but he couldn’t have found a place he would love being more. Keep smiling handsome boy we will hope to get to see you again!

Our little Krissy came into rescue when she was just about four months old and she was a fire ball of energy. Her mom now takes her to sled and does a great job of it, she gets to go for two walks a day and couldn’t possibly be more loved! Krissy is still a baby and loves all the fun stuff in life but is more then happy to skip the work. She gets to live with her Sammy Rescue sister Penny and they love to being there to keep each other company. We had a great time with you while you were here Krissy Kris but we are very happy for you and the new family you have!

Through heart worm treatment and the first sign of caring with rescue to the Permanent and perfect forever home a beautiful voyage.

Although the trip up from TN was a long one it had a better ending then Tucker could have ever guessed. He also gets to go for truck rides to see the sites anytime dad gets a chance. Tucker didn’t have anyone now he is the center of a couple of peoples world. Way to go handsome guy!

Buck Buck Buck young playful and full of life is doing an awesome job of fitting in with his new family horses and all. When we called to see how he was doing he had just been laying in bed with dad taking a break and watching some TV (now that’s the life if you ask me). Buck enjoyed his Thanks Giving and all of the attention he got from all of the different visitors. He may be sending family back to adopt so more Sammies into the family soon. Mom says everyone loves Lady even the man that came to hook up the satellite fell in love with her before he left. Finally people that understand you just like you deserve! We are very happy for you even though you will be missed.

I mean really there are a few cats around here but they know who the Queen is ;-) I am very lucky to have so many people that cared about Me being happy!

Things happen for a reason--at least that's what I hear humans saying all the time! My first Mom & Dad decided they wouldn't have time for me anymore so they emailed WSSH to ask for help to find me a new home. Coincidentally this happened on the very same day that two of the WSSH board members met a really awesome family at the Pet Expo in Novi, Michigan who had come there specifically to find the Samoyed rescue and find out if they had any dogs available just like me! How cool is that?? So arrangements were made and I went to meet my new family. Boy are they great!! I have two human sisters and a brother to play with and I even have a kitty cat to hang out with (it's taking some time, but I really think he's warming up to me, we'll be the best of friends real soon). So thanks, WSSH, for teaching me the real meaning of all that philosophical "things happen for a reason" stuff! I couldn't be happier!

Wow what a lucky girl I am to have found such a Wonderful momma at 10 years old. My old family just dumped me at the shelter but thankfully rescue came and got me from there. I only had to wait a short time before my momma came to bring me home forever. She takes such good care of me and loves me more then I could have ever imagined plus she has a few other four legged friends that keep me company while she is at work. Man oh man this is the life!

I have hit the Jack Pot!!!! I have not one, not two but eight human siblings to play with!!! I knew the minute my family walked in the door that they were mine. I have always been afraid of adults they are just big and scary but not my mom and dad I love them and I have since the minute I laid eyes on them. My brother is going to train me in agility so that I can compete in 4-H doesn't that sound like FUN! While I know sometimes I don't act as good as I should my new family is committed and devoted to making me the perfect dog we all know I cant be! It was fun while it lasted WSSH but now I am HOME.

Who would have guessed I wouldn't even make it to the available page? I left the shelter and went to visit the vet once that was done I only stayed with my foster mom for about a week. My family had been Waiting for a Sammy as perfect as I am and they got it. The boy here is my Best Friend he lets me sleep in his bed he takes me for walks. My sisters take awesome care of me too always brushing me and being sure that I am happy. Oh Man I haven't even mentioned Mom and Dad... They are Always telling me how wonderful I am and how happy they are that I am here. The first year or two of life seemed rough but I would go through it all over again knowing it leads here! Thanks WSSH!

Wow we were so lucky to have witnessed this baby growing as much as he did. Einstein is exactly what his name says Smart. He showed that when his mom came to visit him the first time and he was stuck to her like glue with in hours. Einstein is going to get to go hiking, skijoring, sno showing, agility and maybe even therapy we cant imagine him being happier any other way. He will be loved like he never has and he will continue to grow in bounds beyond where he already has! We wish you all the Best in your journey Beautiful boy you will be missed!

This sweet Princess was turned upside down when she lost her beloved momma and got sent to rescue. However don't feel to bad for her because when she got to her new home with her new mom and dad she jumped out of the van and Knew she was there to stay she acted as if she had been there forever. Days after Rosie's adoption Dad called to let us know how Perfect she is! Just what we love to hear. Happy trails sweet lady!

Well I certainly did a lot of traveling in my time but this time... This time it is for Keeps I have a mom and dad that are as devoted to me as they are my two human brothers. Whew and there is another story all around I have two human brothers that Love me to pieces. I never would have guessed that when I found forever it would feel this good. I hope all my Sammy friends at the ranch get this lucky!

When this sweet ole gal came in we hoped that her family would come along sooner rather then later because she so wanted a quite place to lay her head. Well our wish came true Maggie lives happily with her mom and gets to have the grandkids come over to run and play with her all the time. We are so glad this sweet girl came in to touch our hearts! This sweet girl had to go a long way to find her forever home but she finally got it and it was love at first sight. She loved all over her new mom an dad when they came for a visit and showed them how gentle she would be with her new human sisters. That was all it took for her to win them over. While Mimi requires that little extra bit of attention the young Sammy's usually require her new family didn't mind a bit they are going to get her all trained up in no time flat. Mimi could not have gotten a more Perfect forever home. You will be missed sweet girl!

Holy Man I knew I was waiting for my new forever home but I never could have dreamed it would be this perfect!! My people(yes My people) Love me! I got adopted along with my four legged sister from MSR and they already had a sister there for me it is a Sammy Dream. I get to go for walks all the time I am free free free to do as I please and I get all the belly scratching I guy could ask for. You know it is not even just my mom dad and sisters I also have a two legged sister a couple two legged brother and a couple little people that just love to play with me. Thank WSSH this is the home I was meant to be in!

She now has a new Daddy who is home all the time with her, and a pretty kitty brother, and a Momma who is thinking about training her for agility! Tugg-A-Lugg's family drove over 8 hours to pick him up and then head back home now that is love. Tugg has a few feline friends to chance around the house two human brothers a human sister and he deserves every bit of love he gets. His new mom and dad are devoted to taking him to obedience classes and helping him to become the polite little guy inside while loving and treating him all the way. Tugg was in love with his sister the minute she got to the ranch and fell in love with his brother as soon as he got home. Dad takes her for daily rides down to the rive where then spend better then an hour walking around enjoying the day together. Well I was with WSSH for a whole year before my forever family came along but talk about worth the wait! I get to go on at least two sometimes three walks a day I have a Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Dad and plenty of little ones to Love on me All the time I am Such a Lucky girl! Styrder has really got the perfect set up for him! His mom is retired, so she has all day to do nothing but stay and love him. If she goes Bye Bye, he does too. If she goes for a walk he does to. If she goes to visit friends yup you guessed it he does too. They keep each other company 24/7 and he does not have to do any more then he is interested in doing which is a good thing because for Stryder a short walk is more then enough to keep him napping on the couch for at least a few hours. We loved having you hear buddy enjoy your forever home! |

Before "The Grand Duchess" found her new family she was spending 10 to 12 hours a day in a crate and now that she has a new mom and dad that can stay home with her she gets all kinds of love all the time. This ole gal was very lucky to find such a great mom and dad at eight years old but the thing is her mom and dad feel very lucky to have found her as well. She has a Chow brother that just loves her to pieces and she loves him too! They play together, nap together and could not be happier. Thanks for coming gin just long enough to get your paws on our hearts sweet lady we sure do love ya!

Koda finally made it! It was along time coming and at some point his foster home surrendered to the fact that he would remain hers but that was just not so. Kodas new family was out there waiting for him too it just took a little bit for everyone to find each other. Koda has a mom and two human brother to love him, pet him, play with him, walk him and basically anything else he wants. We loved having him here (he had the very important job of keeping the couch warm) and he will be missed but there was no mistaking when he got there that Koda was right where he belonged. Not many dogs can say they have had four families but I can. Don't let it make you sad it does not get me down! Cause my mom and dad show me every day that now I am home forever For Sure! Who knew that two people could ogle over one little ole Sammy gal so much? Not me that's for sure. I was Dangoursly overweight when I got here but little by little mom and dad are making me healthy again. Thanks to a team effort between the Michigan Samoyed Rescue and the Safe Haven I have once and for all found my way home. I hope that all the rescue Sammy's get as luck as I did.

Justice fell in love with his momma the minute she walked in the door. Justice found a mom that was willing and able to travel over 6 hours to come and pick him up. This baby was very special to a lot of us here at WSSH so nothing but the perfect home was going to do for this sweet blind baby and that is just what he got. Justice lives with his mom and his human brother and sister come to visit often but he does not have to share his attention with any other four legged friends and he very much so likes it that way. Justice smothers his momma with kisses when she gets home from work and she sends all that love right back at him. You sure did touch our heart handsome man and you will be missed! |

Three teenage Sammy boys in one house there are so few people this brave but Romeo was lucky enough to find them because getting to run and play is just his cup of tea. Romeo's mom reports she just cant get the boys to slow down! Mom and Romeo like to go for walks together but spending time at home all together is what makes them all the happiest. It was mentioned in Uno's available description that he was having a problem with house training and although Uno was doing very well in his training school they could just not break his accidents. We decided it was time for him to go to the Vet and find out what the problem was. His potential new family picked him up to bring him home for vet attention. They fell in love with him within 30 minutes. We agreed that they would keep him and take him to their vet to be checked out. They found out that he had a severe prostate infection and would need to be on Strong antibiotics for the next six weeks. Through all of this his, potential family became his forever family. No matter what they needed to do to make Uno better they were going to do it. They were already loving him as though he had been there forever. We are very happy Uno has this wonderful family to love him forever and we hope that all of our rescue Sammy's will be this lucky! |
