About WSSH
WSSH seeks to inspire awareness and compassion for all living things.
For the protection and betterment of the breed, the prime purpose of the WSSH, shall be:
- To aid owners of Samoyeds with problems relating to ownership through counseling, education, and support.
- To provide information and materials to the general public on “Responsible Dog Ownership,” including why it is important to spay and neuter pets.
- To aid owners of Samoyeds in the recovery of their animals when lost, strayed, or stolen.
- To identify situations where cruelty and/or abuse to Samoyeds has occurred and assist in removing Samoyeds from these situations.
- To serve as a “safety net” for breeders who have lost touch with their puppy people or are unaware of their breeding progeny’s need for a new home.
- To attempt to place stray, abandoned, or surrendered Samoyeds in homes that will provide a high level of care.
- To maintain a good working relationship with other Samoyed Rescue groups on the Local and National level.
Wonderland Samoyed Safe Haven has eight dedicated volunteers on its Board of Directors.
